We have so much in common! My crush would be in whatever book I'm currently reading, which right now is Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, so my crush is Clay. I'm going to steal this idea, including the prizes, and I will use a different question for boys. Might wait until March and ask the question, "Who would be your best friend?" That would maybe allow our middle school boys to be less reluctant.Debby Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3879672699838386732.post-22738040155455190392013-01-20T04:21:19.969-08:002013-01-20T04:21:19.969-08:00 was definitely a simple, quick idea that caught o... was definitely a simple, quick idea that caught on :) so much fun and easy!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786475320854134785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3879672699838386732.post-81489483669289631002013-01-19T18:40:19.788-08:002013-01-19T18:40:19.788-08:00LOVE this display--and I'll be using it, too! ...LOVE this display--and I'll be using it, too! However, there are a couple I could name: Jamie Fraser (Outlander series by Gabaldon) and Roarke (JD Robb series).

Oddly, it's usually the best friend of the main character in most YA books. Go figure. Possibly because it feels weird (in my head anyway) to crush on teens, even in books! But mostly due to the best friend is almost always the wise cracking, sarcastic, prankster in the book OR the good hearted, boy next door, often overlooked by the heroine (a Duckie/Jon Cryer from the movie Pretty in Pink type character).

hloyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00671731508700289813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3879672699838386732.post-26615226900506730772013-01-09T12:41:50.682-08:002013-01-09T12:41:50.682-08:00Yours will be cuter, I guarantee!
